Alcohol and drug addiction and abuse are also rampant in the Las Vegas area. Because casinos are opened all hours and serve alcohol, those that have alcoholism are given access to it whenever they need it, making it harder for them to beat their addiction. Also, Las Vegas attracts many visitors that go there to let loose and find themselves in trouble with the law or victims of crime because of their intoxication. This is portrayed in the recent film, The Hangover that takes place in Vegas.
