Derogatory accounts show on your credit report for 7-years from the date of first delinquency and bankruptcy’s show for 10-years.
As long as the information is correct, they is no legal way to remove it.
That’s why they call it credit history.
Credit repair is a scam. They can’t do anything you can’t do yourself.

Credit repair organizations are mostly ripoffs.

Bankruptcy remains on your credit report for 10 years, after the 10 years is up, the credit bureau have to remove the derragotory information from your report.a credit repair agency cannot repair your credit before that time.

Yes I have had clients have BK removed but it is not the norm nor should the BK by it self, be the main focus. Depending on the age of the BK your focus wants to be on the accounts that where in the BK. In many cases what I have seen is accounts that were included in the BK not updated on the credit report to reflect that they were part of a BK. The other thing is that items that were part of a BK, if approached properly can in some cases be removed from the report which helps with the scores and the rebuilding process. The fact that the BK happened is going to restrict you in some areas of financing but doesn’t necessarily mean you have to have crappy credit scores. I have clients that went through the process that had 700 scores 6 months later. It depends on a lot of different variables, but the one certainty is that the scores can be greatly approved after the BK.
